Piano Under the Stars transcends the boundaries of traditional performance. Created by renowned Chilean pianist and composer Claudio Recabarren Madrid, this is an experience designed for dome theaters, where the music and visuals work together to transport the audience into a cosmic realm. Recabarren’s original piano compositions, enriched with ethno-symphonic arrangements featuring voice, wind, and ancestral percussion, form the heart of this unique experience. Each note resonates with the vastness of the universe, while the immersive imagery adds a rich, artistic layer that deepens the sensory connection between the audience and the music.

Recabarren’s music is a bridge between the heavens and Earth, fostering a deep connection with the sky and nature. His performances have taken him across continents—from Asia to North America, Latin America to Europe—where he has played in awe-inspiring locations like lakes, mountaintops, deserts, and ancient dolmens. Piano Under the Stars is a culmination of these global experiences, uniting diverse cultures and landscapes in a singular artistic vision that speaks a universal language of beauty and peace.

The show’s visual component is equally powerful, with stunning cosmic imagery that complements the music’s ethereal qualities. Fulldome theaters have the option of making Piano Under the Stars their own. You are invited to combine images from your venue with the existing fulldome images.

Whether you modify this show or embrace the original content, Piano Under the Stars offers a unique and transformative encounter that resonates on both a personal and universal level. It’s an invitation to lose oneself in the music, find solace in the stars, and emerge with a renewed sense of wonder for the world around us.
